Wong Chuk Hang is Hong Kong’s answer to New York’s Meatpacking district, known for its light industrial, urban warehouse vibe along with increasing commercial offerings.

As a former industrial centre near Aberdeen, the Wong Chuk Hang neighbourhood has since undergone a series of transformations where factories and warehouses have been reborn as restaurants, art galleries and studios, coffee shops, hotels and living spaces. Lee Fund Centre, Sungib Industrial Centre and Yally Industrial Building are a few well-known locations that have seen these changes.

The district retains its charm with a blend of old and new Hong Kong buildings and designs, plus the relatively new MTR link on the South Island line to Admiralty, making Wong Chuk Hang a highly accessible and vibrant neighbourhood to live
