Living in Deep Water Bay / Repulse Bay

Deep Water Bay is one of the most prestigious and picturesque areas in Hong Kong. It lies nestled between Shouson Hill and Repulse Bay. There are many luxury homes and townhouse developments, most of which have fabulous views over the exclusive nine-hole Deep Water Bay Golf Club and Deep Water Bay Beach.

Repulse Bay is one of the most popular residential areas in Hong Kong and is 20 minutes to Central during non peak hours and about 35 – 40 minutes at peak hour. The area is particularly popular for families with children. It has a mix of exclusive high-rise apartments and townhouse developments that have extensive facilities and spectacular views over the bay. Many townhouses have large balconies or terraces. There are also some older, low-rise buildings.

Things to do in Deep Water & Repulse Bay

There are some great restaurants in the area. Try out the local new restaurant called Uno Beach Café T: 2328 2138 which has opened at Deep Water Bay Beach. It serves casual tapas and snacks in an alfresco setting right on the beach. Other great restaurants are located at 109 Repulse Bay Road and include: Japanese, Spices, Victoria Seafood Restaurant and the Veranda.

We also recommend La Poste, a French café located at 2 South Bay Road, T: 2812 6163.
