Venture out of Central

Head out of Central and try some of the great restaurants scattered in the New Territories, on Outlying Islands or the back side of the Island. It makes for a great day out and a good way to explore another side of Hong Kong. Think about combining it with a hike or get a group of people organized for a long afternoon lunch.
 
Shek O

 Located at the back side of Hong Kong Island, Shek O is the last remaining village on the island, with a very laid back ambiance. Take a taxi or there are plenty of buses if need be to return to Central.
